Shipping policy

FIELD is made by hand in small batches just outside Bozeman, Montana. We pack every order with care and get it on its way as quickly as we can.

Shipping Rates

We offer $8 flat-rate shipping on U.S. orders.

Shipping is complimentary on orders of $70 or more.

Processing & Delivery

Orders are typically prepared and shipped within 1–3 business days.

Once your order is on its way, standard shipping typically takes an additional 2–5 business days, depending on your location and carrier.

You’ll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.

Please note that delivery estimates are just that: estimates. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside our control can occasionally affect delivery times.

Warm-Weather Shipping

FIELD is made with natural fats and oils, which means your tallow may soften or melt in warm temperatures during transit. This is completely natural and does not affect the quality of the product.

If your balm arrives soft or warm, simply place it somewhere cool or refrigerate it briefly until it firms back up. The texture may be slightly different after melting, but it is still perfectly good to use.

If your order arrives leaking, damaged, or otherwise compromised, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@fieldtallow.com and we’ll make it right.

Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at hello@fieldtallow.com.

Once an order has been shipped, we may not be able to change or redirect the delivery address.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you can’t find it, check around your property and with anyone else who may have received it, then contact the carrier.

If your package appears to be lost in transit or hasn’t moved for an unusual amount of time, reach out to us at hello@fieldtallow.com and we’ll help however we can.
